महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-94, verse-40

तस्मादग्नेः समुत्तस्थौ कृत्या लोकभयंकरी ।
तस्या नाम वृषादर्भिर्यातुधानीत्यथाकरोत् ॥४०॥

40. From that fire arose a kṛtyā (magical creation), terrifying to the world. He then named her Vṛṣādarbhi, meaning 'sorceress'.
