kāmaṁ kāmayamānasya yadā kāmaḥ samṛdhyate ,

Vishvamitra said: When the desire (kāma) of one who is desiring is fulfilled, then another desire (kāma), a craving (tṛṣṇā), immediately pierces him like an arrow.
