महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-94, verse-21

अपक्वमेव तन्मांसमभूत्तेषां च धीमताम् ।
अथ हित्वा ययुः सर्वे वनमाहारकाङ्क्षिणः ॥२१॥
21. apakvameva tanmāṁsamabhūtteṣāṁ ca dhīmatām ,
atha hitvā yayuḥ sarve vanamāhārakāṅkṣiṇaḥ.
21. apakvam eva tat māṃsam abhūt teṣām ca dhīmatām
atha hitvā yayuḥ sarve vanam āhārakāṅkṣiṇaḥ
21. Indeed, that meat of those intelligent ones remained uncooked. Then, all of them, desiring food, abandoned it and went to the forest.
