महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-94, verse-25

इह ह्येतदुपादत्तं प्रेत्य स्यात्कटुकोदयम् ।
अप्रतिग्राह्यमेवैतत्प्रेत्य चेह सुखेप्सुना ॥२५॥
25. iha hyetadupādattaṁ pretya syātkaṭukodayam ,
apratigrāhyamevaitatpretya ceha sukhepsunā.
25. iha hi etat upādattam pretya syāt kaṭukodayam
apratigrāhyam eva etat pretya ca iha sukhepsunā
25. hi iha etat upādattam pretya kaṭukodayam syāt.
Sukhepsunā pretya ca iha etat eva apratigrāhyam.
25. For indeed, if this is accepted in this world, it would result in a bitter outcome after death. Therefore, for one who desires happiness both in this world and the next, this should definitely not be accepted.
