अह्नापीह तपो जातु ब्राह्मणस्योपजायते ।
तद्दाव इव निर्दह्यात्प्राप्तो राजप्रतिग्रहः ॥१९॥

taddāva iva nirdahyātprāpto rājapratigrahaḥ.

19. Even in this world, for a brāhmaṇa, tapas (asceticism) indeed arises quickly. But an accepted royal gift would certainly burn up that (tapas) like a forest fire.
