महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-94, verse-36

भीष्म उवाच ।
इत्युक्त्वा हेमगर्भाणि हित्वा तानि फलानि ते ।
ऋषयो जग्मुरन्यत्र सर्व एव धृतव्रताः ॥३६॥
36. bhīṣma uvāca ,
ityuktvā hemagarbhāṇi hitvā tāni phalāni te ,
ṛṣayo jagmuranyatra sarva eva dhṛtavratāḥ.
36. bhīṣmaḥ uvāca iti uktvā hemagarbhāṇi hitvā tāni
phalāni te ṛṣayaḥ jagmuḥ anyatra sarve eva dhṛtavratāḥ
36. bhīṣmaḥ uvāca iti uktvā te dhṛtavratāḥ sarve eva
ṛṣayaḥ tāni hemagarbhāṇi phalāni hitvā anyatra jagmuḥ
36. Bhishma said: Having thus spoken, those sages, all steadfast in their vows, left those gold-containing fruits and went elsewhere.
