अरुन्धत्युवाच ।
धर्मार्थं संचयो यो वै द्रव्याणां पक्षसंमतः ।
तपःसंचय एवेह विशिष्टो द्रव्यसंचयात् ॥३२॥

32. arundhatyuvāca ,
dharmārthaṁ saṁcayo yo vai dravyāṇāṁ pakṣasaṁmataḥ ,
tapaḥsaṁcaya eveha viśiṣṭo dravyasaṁcayāt.

Arundhatī said: The accumulation of wealth for the sake of natural law (dharma) that is approved by factions is not as important. Here, the accumulation of austerity (tapas) is indeed superior to the accumulation of wealth.
