पापीयान्हि धनं लब्ध्वा वशे कुर्याद्गरीयसः ।
राज्ञा वा समनुज्ञातः कामं कुर्वीत धार्मिकः ॥३०॥

30. pāpīyānhi dhanaṁ labdhvā vaśe kuryādgarīyasaḥ ,
rājñā vā samanujñātaḥ kāmaṁ kurvīta dhārmikaḥ.

30. Indeed, a very sinful person, having obtained wealth, might bring even the superior ones under his control. But a righteous person (dhārmika), if permitted by the king, may act freely (acquire wealth).
