O best among men (puruṣarṣabha), that intelligent person (buddhimān) becomes one whose intrinsic nature (dharma) is purified through association with the pure and the enlightened. Furthermore, having united with the liberated, he becomes one whose intrinsic nature (dharma) is liberated.
