महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-292, verse-43

स लिङ्गान्तरमासाद्य प्राकृतं लिङ्गमव्रणम् ।
व्रणद्वाराण्यधिष्ठाय कर्माण्यात्मनि मन्यते ॥४३॥
43. sa liṅgāntaramāsādya prākṛtaṁ liṅgamavraṇam ,
vraṇadvārāṇyadhiṣṭhāya karmāṇyātmani manyate.

vraṇadvārāṇi adhiṣṭhāya karmāṇi ātmani manyate
43. sa liṅgāntaram prākṛtam avraṇam liṅgam āsādya

43. Having obtained another subtle body (liṅga), a material (prākṛta) subtle body that is intrinsically unblemished, the self (ātman) then, by identifying with the avenues of vulnerability, considers actions (karma) to belong to its own true nature (ātman).
