महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-292, verse-26

जन्ममृत्युविवादे च तथा विशसनेऽपि च ।
शुभाशुभमयं सर्वमेतदाहुः क्रियापथम् ॥२६॥
26. janmamṛtyuvivāde ca tathā viśasane'pi ca ,
śubhāśubhamayaṁ sarvametadāhuḥ kriyāpatham.

26. janmamṛtyuvivāde ca tathā viśasane api ca,
etat sarvam śubhāśubhamayam (iti) kriyāpatham āhuḥ
26. And in matters of birth, death, and disputes, and also in killing or violence; all this, consisting of both auspicious and inauspicious, they declare to be the path of action (karma).
