महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-288, verse-32

यादृशैः संनिवसति यादृशांश्चोपसेवते ।
यादृगिच्छेच्च भवितुं तादृग्भवति पूरुषः ॥३२॥

32. yādṛśaiḥ saṁnivasati yādṛśāṁścopasevate ,
yādṛgicchecca bhavituṁ tādṛgbhavati pūruṣaḥ.

32. A person (puruṣa) becomes like those with whom they associate, like those whom they serve, and like that which they wish to become.
