महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-288, verse-30

सर्वानेताननुचरन्वत्सवच्चतुरः स्तनान् ।
न पावनतमं किंचित्सत्यादध्यगमं क्वचित् ॥३०॥
30. sarvānetānanucaranvatsavaccaturaḥ stanān ,
na pāvanatamaṁ kiṁcitsatyādadhyagamaṁ kvacit.
30. sarvān etān anucaran vatsavat caturaḥ stanān na
pāvana-tamam kiṃcit satyāt adhyagamam kvacit
30. [aham] vatsavat caturaḥ stanān anucaran etān sarvān [guṇān api] [anucaran],
satyāt kiṃcit pāvana-tamam kvacit na adhyagamam
30. Following all these (virtues) just as a calf follows its four teats, I have never anywhere found anything more purifying than truth (satyam).
