महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-288, verse-31

आचक्षेऽहं मनुष्येभ्यो देवेभ्यः प्रतिसंचरन् ।
सत्यं स्वर्गस्य सोपानं पारावारस्य नौरिव ॥३१॥
31. ācakṣe'haṁ manuṣyebhyo devebhyaḥ pratisaṁcaran ,
satyaṁ svargasya sopānaṁ pārāvārasya nauriva.

satyam svargasya sopānam pārāvārasya nauḥ iva

31. Moving between humans and gods, I declare that truth (satyam) is the ladder to heaven, just as a boat is for crossing the ocean.
