महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-288, verse-24

यस्य वाङ्मनसी गुप्ते सम्यक्प्रणिहिते सदा ।
वेदास्तपश्च त्यागश्च स इदं सर्वमाप्नुयात् ॥२४॥
24. yasya vāṅmanasī gupte samyakpraṇihite sadā ,
vedāstapaśca tyāgaśca sa idaṁ sarvamāpnuyāt.

24. He whose speech and mind are always well-controlled and guarded, and who practices the sacred texts (Vedas), ascetic discipline (tapas), and renunciation, he shall attain all of this.
