महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-250, verse-33

यानश्रुबिन्दून्पतितानपश्यं ये पाणिभ्यां धारितास्ते पुरस्तात् ।
ते व्याधयो मानवान्घोररूपाः प्राप्ते काले पीडयिष्यन्ति मृत्यो ॥३३॥
33. yānaśrubindūnpatitānapaśyaṁ; ye pāṇibhyāṁ dhāritāste purastāt ,
te vyādhayo mānavānghorarūpāḥ; prāpte kāle pīḍayiṣyanti mṛtyo.

pāṇibhyām dhāritāḥ te purastāt

33. mṛtyo,
yān patitān aśrubindūn ye purastāt pāṇibhyām dhāritāḥ (āsīt),

33. O Death, those teardrops which I saw falling, and which were formerly held by your hands—those very teardrops, appearing as terrible diseases, will torment humans at the appointed time.
