महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-250, verse-25

ततोऽब्रवीत्पुनर्मृत्युर्भगवन्तं पितामहम् ।
न हरेयं प्रजा देव पुनस्त्वाहं प्रसादये ॥२५॥
25. tato'bravītpunarmṛtyurbhagavantaṁ pitāmaham ,
na hareyaṁ prajā deva punastvāhaṁ prasādaye.

na hareyam prajā deva punas tvā aham prasādaye
25. tataḥ punar mṛtyuḥ bhagavantam pitāmaham abravīt: "deva,

25. Then Death (mṛtyu) again spoke to the revered Grandfather (pitāmaha), saying: "O Lord (deva), I shall not take away (destroy) beings. I implore you again."
