महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-250, verse-26

तामधर्मभयत्रस्तां पुनरेव च याचतीम् ।
तदाब्रवीद्देवदेवो निगृह्येदं वचस्ततः ॥२६॥
26. tāmadharmabhayatrastāṁ punareva ca yācatīm ,
tadābravīddevadevo nigṛhyedaṁ vacastataḥ.

tadā abravīt devadevaḥ nigṛhya idam vacaḥ tataḥ
26. tadā devadevaḥ adharmabhayatrastām punaḥ eva ca
yācatīm tām nigṛhya tataḥ idam vacaḥ abravīt
26. The God of gods (devadevaḥ) then spoke these words, gently restraining her who was again begging, terrified by the fear of unrighteousness (adharma).
