महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-212, verse-43

एवं सति कुतः संज्ञा प्रेत्यभावे पुनर्भवेत् ।
प्रतिसंमिश्रिते जीवे गृह्यमाणे च मध्यतः ॥४३॥

43. evaṁ sati kutaḥ saṁjñā pretyabhāve punarbhavet ,
pratisaṁmiśrite jīve gṛhyamāṇe ca madhyataḥ.

43. If this is so, then how could consciousness possibly arise again in a future existence, when the living being is completely mingled (with other elements) and apprehended from within?
