महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-212, verse-1

भीष्म उवाच ।
जनको जनदेवस्तु ज्ञापितः परमर्षिणा ।
पुनरेवानुपप्रच्छ सांपराये भवाभवौ ॥१॥
1. bhīṣma uvāca ,
janako janadevastu jñāpitaḥ paramarṣiṇā ,
punarevānupapraccha sāṁparāye bhavābhavau.

1. Bhishma said: King Janaka, having been instructed by the great sage, again inquired about existence and non-existence (bhava-abhava) in the context of the hereafter (saṃparāya).
