योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-49, verse-44

वैतृष्ण्यशान्तमनसो निरोधमलमीयुषः ।
स्थितिर्वज्रसमाधानं विना नान्योपपद्यते ॥ ४४ ॥
vaitṛṣṇyaśāntamanaso nirodhamalamīyuṣaḥ ,
sthitirvajrasamādhānaṃ vinā nānyopapadyate 44
44. vaitṛṣṇyaśāntamanasaḥ nirodham alam īyuṣaḥ
sthitiḥ vajrasamādhānam vinā na anyā upapadyate
44. vaitṛṣṇyaśāntamanasaḥ nirodham alam īyuṣaḥ,
vinā vajrasamādhānam,
anyā sthitiḥ na upapadyate.
44. For one whose mind is pacified by the absence of craving, and who has thoroughly achieved mental cessation, no other stable state is possible without adamantine concentration (dhyāna).
