योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-23, verse-36

दर्शनादेव मित्रत्वं कुर्वतां महतां पुरः ।
कमलानीव भूतानि विकसन्त्याश्वसन्ति च ॥ ३६ ॥
darśanādeva mitratvaṃ kurvatāṃ mahatāṃ puraḥ ,
kamalānīva bhūtāni vikasantyāśvasanti ca 36
36. darśanāt eva mitratvam kurvatām mahatām puraḥ
kamalāni iva bhūtāni vikasanti āśvasanti ca
36. mahatām puraḥ darśanāt eva mitratvam kurvatām (sannidhau),
bhūtāni kamalāni iva vikasanti ca āśvasanti
36. In the presence of great persons who form friendships merely by seeing, beings blossom and feel reassured, just like lotuses.
