विरागवासनापास्तसमस्तभववासनः ।
उत्थाय गच्छ प्रकृतेरस्या मङ्किरिवाङ्कितः ॥ १ ॥

virāgavāsanāpāstasamastabhavavāsanaḥ ,

maṅkiḥ iva aṅkitaḥ

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: 'Rise up and depart from this primal nature (prakṛti) – you whose desires for all existences (saṃsāra) have been cast away by the inclination towards dispassion (virāga) – just as Maṅki was liberated.'
