न तस्य सुकृतेनार्थो न भोगैर्न च कर्मभिः ।

18. For him, there is no purpose (artha) in good deeds, nor in enjoyments, nor in actions (karma). Nor is there any purpose in evil deeds, nor in the renunciation of enjoyments, nor in relatives.
