योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-77, verse-3

सुषुप्तवदिदं नित्यं पश्यत्यपगतैषणः ।
असद्रूपमिवासक्तं सर्वत्राखिलमात्मवान् ॥ ३ ॥
suṣuptavadidaṃ nityaṃ paśyatyapagataiṣaṇaḥ ,
asadrūpamivāsaktaṃ sarvatrākhilamātmavān 3
3. suṣuptavat idam nityam paśyati apagataiṣaṇaḥ
asat-rūpam iva āsaktam sarvatra akhilam ātmavān
3. ātmavān apagataiṣaṇaḥ nityam idam akhilam sarvatra
asat-rūpam iva āsaktam paśyati suṣuptavat
3. One who is self-possessed (ātmavān) and free from desires (apagataiṣaṇaḥ) always perceives this entire universe, everywhere, as if it were unreal (asad-rūpam iva) and unattached, much like someone in a state of deep sleep.
