विषयादिषु मध्यस्थं चित्ररूपेषु शत्रुषु ।
दशास्वेतास्वनन्तासु लुठितं संकटास्विति ॥ ४८ ॥

48. viṣaya ādiṣu madhyastham citrarūpeṣu śatruṣu
daśāsu etāsu anantāsu luṭhitam saṃkaṭāsu iti

48. (tat) viṣaya-ādiṣu madhyastham,
citrarūpeṣu śatruṣu (ca),
etāsu anantāsu saṃkaṭāsu daśāsu luṭhitam iti.

48. Wallowing in these endless, perilous states, amidst sense objects (viṣaya) and the like, and among enemies of various forms.
