एष ते कथितः सर्वः प्राक्तनः संसृतिक्रमः ।

3. All of this past cycle of transmigration (saṃsāra) has been explained to you. In this way, consciousness (ākāśa), which is merely an illusion (bhrama), appears to assume the form of an individual soul (jīva).
