इतो याति परं लोकं स्फुरत्यन्यतया मनः ।
तत्तस्यैत्येतदामोक्षमतो मृतिभयं कुतः ॥ २७ ॥

When the mind (manas) departs from this (body) and moves to another realm, it manifests in a different form. This mental continuum persists for it until final liberation (mokṣa). Therefore, from where can the fear of death arise?
