श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अस्य चित्तमहाव्याधेश्चिकित्साया महौषधम् ।
स्वायत्तं श्रृणु वक्ष्यामि साधु सुस्वादु निश्चितम् ॥ १ ॥

asya cittamahāvyādheścikitsāyā mahauṣadham ,
svāyattaṃ śrṛṇu vakṣyāmi sādhu susvādu niścitam 1
