वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-30, verse-19

सो ऽहं तासां विशेषार्थं स्त्रियमेकां विनिर्ममे ।
यद् यत् प्रजानां प्रत्यङ्गं विशिष्टं तत्तदुद्धृतम् ॥१९॥
19. so'haṃ tāsāṃ viśeṣārthaṃ striyamekāṃ vinirmame ,
yad yat prajānāṃ pratyaṅgaṃ viśiṣṭaṃ tattaduddhṛtam.

yat yat prajānām pratyaṅgam viśiṣṭam tat tat uddhṛtam

19. So, for the purpose of creating a distinction among them, I created one woman. Whatever excellent limb each of those beings possessed, that very part was extracted (and incorporated into her).
