वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-87, verse-46

ते रावणशरा घोरा राघवास्त्रसमाहताः ।
विलयं जग्मुराकाशे जग्मुश्चैव सहस्रशः ॥४६॥
46. te rāvaṇaśarā ghorā rāghavāstrasamāhatāḥ ,
vilayaṃ jagmurākāśe jagmuścaiva sahasraśaḥ.

vilayam jagmuḥ ākāśe jagmuḥ ca eva sahasraśaḥ
46. Struck down by Rāghava's (Rāma's) weapons, those terrible arrows of Rāvaṇa vanished in the sky; thousands of them simply disappeared.
