वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-87, verse-35

ते महामेघसंकाशे कवचे पतिताः शराः ।
अवध्ये राक्षसेन्द्रस्य न व्यथां जनयंस्तदा ॥३५॥
35. te mahāmeghasaṃkāśe kavace patitāḥ śarāḥ ,
avadhye rākṣasendrasya na vyathāṃ janayaṃstadā.
35. ते महामेघसंकाशे कवचे पतिताः शराः अवध्ये
राक्षसेन्द्रस्य न व्यथाम् जनयन् तदा
35. ते शराः राक्षसेन्द्रस्य महामेghasaṃkāśe
avadhye kavace patitāḥ tadā vyathām na janayan
35. Those arrows, falling on the armor of the king of the rākṣasas—which resembled a great cloud and was invulnerable—did not cause him any pain at that time.
