वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-87, verse-37

ते भित्त्वा बाणरूपाणि पञ्चशीर्षा इवोरगाः ।
श्वसन्तो विविशुर्भूमिं रावणप्रतिकूलताः ॥३७॥
37. te bhittvā bāṇarūpāṇi pañcaśīrṣā ivoragāḥ ,
śvasanto viviśurbhūmiṃ rāvaṇapratikūlatāḥ.
37. ते भित्त्वा बाणरूपाणि पञ्चशीर्षाः इव उरगाः
श्वसन्तः विविशुः भूमिम् रावणप्रतिकूलताः
37. ते बाणरूपाणि भित्त्वा पञ्चशीर्षाः इव उरगाः
श्वसन्तः रावणप्रतिकूलताः भूमिम् विविशुः
37. Those (arrows), having pierced (Rāvaṇa's forehead) and then shed their arrow-forms, like five-headed serpents, hissing and hostile to Rāvaṇa, entered the earth.
