वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-23, verse-15

तथा त्वं संपरिष्वज्य रौद्रयातिनृशंसया ।
कालरात्र्या मयाच्छिद्य हृतः कमललोचनः ॥१५॥
15. tathā tvaṃ saṃpariṣvajya raudrayātinṛśaṃsayā ,
kālarātryā mayācchidya hṛtaḥ kamalalocanaḥ.

kālarātryā mayā acchidya hṛtaḥ kamalalocanaḥ

15. Thus, O lotus-eyed one, having been embraced by the terrible and extremely cruel night of destruction (kālarātri), you have been snatched away, leaving me severed (from you).
