वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-22, verse-4

मानुषी मानुषं तं तु राममिच्छसि शोभने ।
राज्याद्भ्रष्टमसिद्धार्थं विक्लवं तमनिन्दिते ॥४॥
4. mānuṣī mānuṣaṃ taṃ tu rāmamicchasi śobhane ,
rājyādbhraṣṭamasiddhārthaṃ viklavaṃ tamanindite.
4. mānuṣī mānuṣam tam tu rāmam icchasi śobhane rājyāt
bhraṣṭam asiddhārtham viklavam tam anindite
4. O beautiful one, you, a human woman, desire that Rāma, who is a mere human, fallen from his kingdom, whose purpose remains unfulfilled, and who is bewildered. O faultless one.
