मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-72, verse-42

तस्य मन्वन्तरं ब्रह्मन् वदतो मे निशामय ।
श्रूयतां तत्र यश्चेन्द्रो ये च देवास्तथर्षयः ॥४२॥
42. tasya manvantaraṃ brahman vadato me niśāmaya .
śrūyatāṃ tatra yaścendro ye ca devāstatharṣayaḥ.
42. tasya manvantaram brahman vadataḥ me niśāmaya
śrūyatām tatra yaḥ ca indraḥ ye ca devāḥ tathā ṛṣayaḥ
42. O brahmin (brahman), listen to me as I describe his (Uttama's) `manvantara`. May it be heard who was Indra there, and who were the gods, as well as the sages.
