मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-72, verse-40

उत्तमाख्यानमखिलं जन्म चैवोत्तमस्य च ।
नित्यं शृणोति विद्वेषं स कदाचिन्न गच्छति ॥४०॥
40. uttamākhyānamakhilaṃ janma caivottamasya ca .
nityaṃ śṛṇoti vidveṣaṃ sa kadācinna gacchati.
40. uttama ākhyānam akhilam janma ca eva uttamasya
ca nityam śṛṇoti vidveṣam sa kadācit na gacchati
40. One who constantly listens to this entire excellent narrative, as well as the account of the birth of the supreme being (uttama), will never experience hatred.
