मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-72, verse-33

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
इति दत्वा वरं तस्मै नागराजसुता ततः ।
सखीं तां संपरिष्वज्य पातालमगमन्मुने ॥३३॥
33. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
iti datvā varaṃ tasmai nāgarājasutā tataḥ .
sakhīṃ tāṃ saṃpariṣvajya pātālamagamanmune.
33. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca iti datvā varam tasmai nāgarājasutā
tataḥ sakhīm tām saṃpariṣvajya pātālam agamat mune
33. Markaṇḍeya said: "Having thus granted a boon to him, the daughter of the Nāga king then embraced that friend of hers and went to Pātāla, O sage."
