मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-72, verse-16

स्मृतस्तेन तदा सद्यः समुपेत्य नराधिपम् ।
किं करोमीति सोऽप्याह प्रणिपत्य महामुने ॥१६॥
16. smṛtastena tadā sadyaḥ samupetya narādhipam .
kiṃ karomīti so'pyāha praṇipatya mahāmune.

kim karomi iti saḥ api āha praṇipatya mahāmune
16. O great sage, as soon as he (the king) remembered him (the sage), the sage immediately approached the king and, bowing down, asked, 'What shall I do?'
