ब्राह्मण उवाच ।
राजवर्य कृतार्थोऽस्मि यतो धर्मो हि रक्षितः ।
धर्मज्ञनेह भवता भार्यामानयता मम ॥२॥

2. brāhmaṇa uvāca .
rājavarya kṛtārtho'smi yato dharmo hi rakṣitaḥ .
dharmajñaneha bhavatā bhāryāmānayatā mama.

The brahmin (brāhmaṇa) said: "O best of kings, I am fulfilled because the natural law (dharma) has indeed been protected here by you, the knower of natural law (dharma), through the return of my wife."
