मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-72, verse-13

यदारोपितमैत्रीन्ताममन्यत महामुनिः ।
स्वभर्तरि तदा विप्रस्तमुवाच नराधिपम् ॥१३॥
13. yadāropitamaitrīntāmamanyata mahāmuniḥ .
svabhartari tadā viprastamuvāca narādhipam.

13. When the great sage (mahāmuni) considered that the purpose of their friendship had been fulfilled, then the brahmin (vipra) spoke to that king (narādhipa) concerning his own kingly status.
