मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-72, verse-11

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
इत्युक्तः स तु सम्भारानशेषानवनीपतिः ।
आनिनाय चकारेष्टिं स च तां द्विजसत्तमः ॥११॥
11. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
ityuktaḥ sa tu sambhārānaśeṣānavanīpatiḥ .
ānināya cakāreṣṭiṃ sa ca tāṃ dvijasattamaḥ.
11. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca iti uktaḥ saḥ tu sambhārān aśeṣān
avanīpatiḥ ānināya cakāra iṣṭim saḥ ca tām dvijasattamaḥ
11. Mārkaṇḍeya said: 'Thus addressed, that king indeed brought all the necessary preparations. And that best of brahmins performed that Vedic ritual (yajña).'
