महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-8, verse-6

सादिनः शिक्षिता राजन्परिवार्य महारथान् ।
विचरन्तो रणेऽभ्यघ्नन्प्रासशक्त्यृष्टिभिस्तथा ॥६॥
6. sādinaḥ śikṣitā rājanparivārya mahārathān ,
vicaranto raṇe'bhyaghnanprāsaśaktyṛṣṭibhistathā.

6. O King, the trained horsemen, surrounding the great charioteers (mahāratha) and moving about in the battle, thus struck them with spears (prāsa), lances (śakti), and javelins (ṛṣṭi).
