महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-8, verse-23

कबन्धशतसंकीर्णं छत्रचामरशोभितम् ।
सेनावनं तच्छुशुभे वनं पुष्पाचितं यथा ॥२३॥
23. kabandhaśatasaṁkīrṇaṁ chatracāmaraśobhitam ,
senāvanaṁ tacchuśubhe vanaṁ puṣpācitaṁ yathā.

23. That 'army-forest' (the battlefield), filled with hundreds of headless trunks and adorned with (fallen) parasols and whisks, shone just like a forest covered with flowers.
