महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-8, verse-3

नागानां भीमरूपाणां द्रवतां निस्वनो महान् ।
अश्रूयत यथा काले जलदानां नभस्तले ॥३॥
3. nāgānāṁ bhīmarūpāṇāṁ dravatāṁ nisvano mahān ,
aśrūyata yathā kāle jaladānāṁ nabhastale.

aśrūyata yathā kāle jaladānām nabhastale

3. A great roar from the dreadful-looking, stampeding elephants was heard, just as the sound of clouds is heard in the sky during the (rainy) season.
