महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-6, verse-36

भीष्मद्रोणार्णवं तीर्त्वा कर्णपातालसंभवम् ।
मा निमज्जस्व सगणः शल्यमासाद्य गोष्पदम् ॥३६॥
36. bhīṣmadroṇārṇavaṁ tīrtvā karṇapātālasaṁbhavam ,
mā nimajjasva sagaṇaḥ śalyamāsādya goṣpadam.

36. Having successfully navigated the ocean (of obstruction) represented by Bhīṣma and Droṇa, and which had Karṇa as its perilous netherworld, do not now, along with your retinue, drown in the shallow puddle (goṣpada) that you have reached, which is Śalya.
