महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-6, verse-41

गतज्वरं महेष्वासं तीर्णपारं महारथम् ।
बभूव पाण्डवेयानां सैन्यं प्रमुदितं निशि ।
सूतपुत्रस्य निधने जयं लब्ध्वा च मारिष ॥४१॥
41. gatajvaraṁ maheṣvāsaṁ tīrṇapāraṁ mahāratham ,
babhūva pāṇḍaveyānāṁ sainyaṁ pramuditaṁ niśi ,
sūtaputrasya nidhane jayaṁ labdhvā ca māriṣa.

41. māriṣa,
sūtaputrasya nidhane ca jayam labdhvā,
pāṇḍaveyānām sainyam gatajvaram maheṣvāsam tīrṇapāram mahāratham niśi pramuditam babhūva.
41. O respected one, after achieving victory with the death of Karṇa, the son of Sūta (sūtaputra), the army of the Pāṇḍavas, now free from anxiety, equipped with mighty archers and great charioteers, and having overcome its adversities, became greatly delighted that night.
