महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-6, verse-10

एवं संस्तूयमानस्तु मद्राणामधिपो बली ।
हर्षं प्राप तदा वीरो दुरापमकृतात्मभिः ॥१०॥
10. evaṁ saṁstūyamānastu madrāṇāmadhipo balī ,
harṣaṁ prāpa tadā vīro durāpamakṛtātmabhiḥ.
10. evam saṃstūyamānaḥ tu madrāṇām adhipaḥ balī
harṣam prāpa tadā vīraḥ durāpam akṛtātmabhiḥ
10. evam saṃstūyamānaḥ tu balī madrāṇām adhipaḥ
vīraḥ tadā akṛtātmabhiḥ durāpam harṣam prāpa
10. Being thus praised, that powerful hero, the lord of the Madras, then attained a joy difficult for those with uncultivated selves (ātman) to achieve.
