महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-14, verse-35

तेषामासीन्महाराज व्यतिक्षेपः परस्परम् ।
सिंहानामामिषेप्सूनां कूजतामिव संयुगे ॥३५॥
35. teṣāmāsīnmahārāja vyatikṣepaḥ parasparam ,
siṁhānāmāmiṣepsūnāṁ kūjatāmiva saṁyuge.

siṃhānām āmiṣepsūnām kūjatām iva saṃyuge
35. mahārāja,

35. O great king, among them there was a mutual clash, like in a battle among lions roaring and desirous of flesh.
