महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-14, verse-19

ततस्तु सशरं चापं नकुलस्य महात्मनः ।
मद्रेश्वरः क्षुरप्रेण तदा चिच्छेद मारिष ।
तदशीर्यत विच्छिन्नं धनुः शल्यस्य सायकैः ॥१९॥
19. tatastu saśaraṁ cāpaṁ nakulasya mahātmanaḥ ,
madreśvaraḥ kṣurapreṇa tadā ciccheda māriṣa ,
tadaśīryata vicchinnaṁ dhanuḥ śalyasya sāyakaiḥ.
19. tataḥ tu saśaram cāpam nakulasya
mahātmanaḥ madreśvaraḥ kṣurapreṇa
tadā ciccheda māriṣa tat adīryata
vicchinnam dhanuḥ śalyasya sāyakaiḥ
19. māriṣa tataḥ tu madreśvaraḥ tadā
kṣurapreṇa mahātmanaḥ nakulasya
saśaram cāpam ciccheda tat vicchinnam
dhanuḥ śalyasya sāyakaiḥ adīryata
19. Then, O venerable one (māriṣa), the lord of Madra (madreśvara), Shalya, immediately cut off the great-souled Nakula's bow, which was fitted with an arrow, with a razor-sharp arrow. That severed bow was then shattered by Shalya's arrows.
